We Will Probe Igwe's Death - Police AIG
Police Acting Inspector General Suleiman Abba has announced that he has given his men the order to investigate the death of Mr Dimgba Igwe.

Mr Igwe had passed away at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, LASUTH, Saturday morning due to injuries acquired after being hit by an unknown driver as he jogged home from his Okota, Lagos neighborhood.
The Police IG has however given order to his men to push and investigate, he said these as he condoled the family of the bereaved.
He said in statement signed by the force spokesperson, Emmanuel Ojukwu: “The Police will leave no stone un-turned in their investigation towards unravelling the circumstances surrounding the late Dimgba’s death”.
The police head praised the late journalist and said that the nation will never forget his contribution even years after he is gone.
The late Journalist, Dimgba Igwe who was an associate publisher of Entertainment weekly newspaper was until his death the Assistant General overseer of Evangel Pentecostal Church, Lagos.
One of Nigeria’s most respected journalist, Mr. Dimgba, alongside Mike Awoyinfa, pioneered the defunct Weekend Concord newspaper, The Sun Newspaper.
He co-authored several books including Osoba: The Newspaper Years, The Arts of Feature Writing and Mike Adenuga: The Business Guru.
He is survived by wife and four children. Dimgba Igwe died at the age of 58.
