Oby Ezekwesili Cries After 21 Chibok Girls were Released



Following the shocking release of about 21 Chibok girls held hostage by the dreaded terrorist group, Boko Haram, Oby Ezekwesili said she is in tears.

Former Minister and co-founder of Transparency International, Oby Ezekwesili who is also the leader of #BringBackOurGirls campaign, has expressed joy at the news of the release of about 21 Chibok Girls held hostage by terrorist group, Boko Haram.
 
Below is how she expressed her joy on social media;
 
 
Oby said she could only cry and weep at the news after hearing it.

"I can only weep, right now. You know that kind of cry that is a mix of multiple emotions. Lord. Some of OUR Girls ARE BACK!!! B. A. C. K.!!" she wrote on twitter.
 
The 21 girls were released today after a deal brokered by the International Red Cross between the government and Boko Haram. The girls are now being expected in Abuja to be handed over to the Federal Government.
 
 
Presidential spokesman, Garba Shehu, who confirmed the news said the government will release names of the freed girls.
