A LGA Councillor has barely escaped with his life intact after he was cornered and nearly killed by armed robbers.

Hon Silver Etieyibo escaped death after he was attacked by armed robbers.

A local government Councillor nearly lost his life after armed robbers shot him as he was heading home.

 

 

Adibor Freeborn‎ who reported the incident wrote:

"What a cruel world!

 

This is Hon Silver Etieyibo, the Honourable Councillor representing Ward 16, Okpe local government area of Delta State. He was shot by armed robbers, who knows if they were kidnappers or assassins. This took place at the popular Effurun Round about yesterday evening when he was heading home.

 

This is avoidable if the police who are always there in the day still continue their operations in the night. That place is too strategic to be left unattended to especially in the night. I wish him quick recovery."
